There are two ways to find tracks on Fatstep: describe what you want in the search bar, or start from a track you already like and ask for more in the same vein.
Search by words
Type an artist, song, genre, mood, or label into the search bar. Results are grouped so you can jump straight to songs, artists, releases, or playlists.
The search reads meaning, not just names, so describing what you want works too: "warm lo-fi piano for a slow montage" returns sensible results even when none of those words appear in a title.
More like this track
When a track is nearly right, open its menu and choose Similar songs. Fatstep compares it to the rest of the catalogue by sound and brings back the closest matches. A song page carries the same list under its Similar tab, and a release page suggests related releases at the bottom.
Narrow it down
Filter the catalog by Genres, Moods, Instruments, Tempo, Duration, Vocals (or instrumental), Key and BPM, and sort by Staff Pick or Newest. You can play any track in full before you decide - you never have to buy to preview.
