Creating your account and signing in
Signing up is free and takes a few seconds. You need an account only to buy, download, or save music - browsing and listening are open to everyone. How to sign in Pick whichever is easiest for you: - Continue with Google - one tap, no password. - Magic link - enter your email and we send you a link that signs you in. - Email and password - if you prefer a password, it needs at least 6 characters. Use the same email every time so all your purchases, favorites, and playlists stay in one account. My magic-link email did not arrive - Check your spam or promotions folder. - Give it a minute - it can take a moment to land. - Request a new link and use the most recent one (older links stop working). - Make sure you entered the same email you used last time. If it still will not arrive, open the Chat with us button and we will get you in. Related - What is Fatstep, and what do I get? - Where is my music after I buy?
What is Fatstep, and what do I get when I buy?
Fatstep is a store where you buy and permanently own music from independent artists. It is not a streaming subscription: you pay once for a track and it is yours to keep. What you actually get When you buy a track, you get the real audio files to download and keep forever: - An MP3 and a lossless WAV of every track you buy. - No monthly fee and no expiry. Once it is in your Library, it stays there. Most of what you pay goes to the artist, not the platform (artists keep the large majority of every sale). Do I need an account? You can browse the catalog and play full tracks without signing in. You only need a free account to buy, download, or save favorites and playlists.
