There are two ways to find tracks on Fatstep: search by words, or match by sound when you know the vibe but not the name.

## Search by words

Type an artist, song, genre, mood, or label into the search bar. Results are grouped so you can jump straight to songs, artists, releases, or playlists.

## Match by sound (Music Match)

If you already have a track whose style you want, use **Music Match**: describe the sound you are after, or drop in an audio file (under 80 MB), and Fatstep finds songs in the same style. It is the fastest way to find "more like this."

## Narrow it down

Filter the catalog by **Genres, Moods, Instruments, Tempo, Duration, Vocals** (or instrumental), **Key** and **BPM**, and sort by **Staff Pick** or **Newest**. You can play any track in full before you decide - you never have to buy to preview.
