How do I buy a track, and how does pay-what-you-want work?
Buying on Fatstep is a one-time purchase - you own the music, and there is no subscription. Pay what you want You choose your price, at or above a small minimum: - EUR 2.50 / USD 3.00 for a single track. - EUR 1.50 / USD 1.90 per track when you buy several at once. You are always welcome to pay more to support the artist, but you never have to. The price you see is the price you pay Card fees are already included, so nothing extra is added at checkout. There are two ways to find tracks on Fatstep: search by words, or match by sound when you know the vibe but not the name. Search by words Type an artist, song, genre, mood, or label into the search bar. Results are grouped so you can jump straight to songs, artists, releases, or playlists. Match by sound (Music Match) If you already have a track whose style you want, use Music Match: describe the sound you are after, or drop in an audio file (under 80 MB), and Fatstep finds songs in the same style. It is the fastest way to find "more like this." Narrow it down Filter the catalog by Genres, Moods, Instruments, Tempo, Duration, Vocals (or instrumental), Key and BPM, and sort by Staff Pick or Newest. Everything you buy lives in your Library, ready to download whenever you want. Download your files From your Library, download each track as an MP3 or a lossless WAV, or grab a whole purchase as a single zip. Re-download anytime, on any device Because you own your purchases, you can download them again whenever you need - on a new phone or laptop, just sign in with the same email. If you are downloading a lot at once, give it a moment (downloads are rate-limited to keep the files safe). Signing up is free and takes a few seconds. You need an account only to buy, download, or save music - browsing and listening are open to everyone. How to sign in Pick whichever is easiest for you: - Continue with Google - one tap, no password. - Magic link - enter your email and we send you a link that signs you in. - Email and password - if you prefer a password, it needs at least 6 characters. Use the same email every time so all your purchases, favorites, and playlists stay in one account.
