How do I find the right music?
There are two ways to find tracks on Fatstep: search by words, or match by sound when you know the vibe but not the name. Search by words Type an artist, song, genre, mood, or label into the search bar. Results are grouped so you can jump straight to songs, artists, releases, or playlists. Match by sound (Music Match) If you already have a track whose style you want, use Music Match: describe the sound you are after, or drop in an audio file (under 80 MB), and Fatstep finds songs in the same style. It is the fastest way to find "more like this." Narrow it down Filter the catalog by Genres, Moods, Instruments, Tempo, Duration, Vocals (or instrumental), Key and BPM, and sort by Staff Pick or Newest. 🚀 Getting startedCreating your account and signing in
Signing up is free and takes a few seconds. You need an account only to buy, download, or save music - browsing and listening are open to everyone. How to sign in Pick whichever is easiest for you: - Continue with Google - one tap, no password. - Magic link - enter your email and we send you a link that signs you in. - Email and password - if you prefer a password, it needs at least 6 characters. Use the same email every time so all your purchases, favorites, and playlists stay in one account. My magic-link email did not arrive - Check your spam or promotions folder. - Give it a minute - it can take a moment to land. - Request a new link and use the most recent one (older links stop working). - Make sure you entered the same email you used last time. Yes. If your channel has under 10,000 subscribers, you can use Fatstep tracks in your videos for free through the creator program - as long as you credit Fatstep. What you get Free MP3 tracks to use in your videos. You start with a set of tracks and unlock more as your videos go live with a Fatstep credit. Will it cause a copyright problem? Using a track through the creator program, with its credit link in your description, means you have permission to use it. Keep that link in place - it is your proof the track is authorized. You unlock more download slots as your credited videos are confirmed. How slots work You start with a set of download slots. Each time a published video carrying your Fatstep credit is validated, you free up and unlock more. If you see that all your slots are in use, publish and validate a video to free one. Make a video count Always add the exact credit link for the track you used, in the description, before the video goes live - that is what lets us validate it. If you open a track you already own, Fatstep turns the purchase into a tip instead of charging you twice. How tips work Any amount you add on a track you already own goes straight to the artist as support. You are never charged again for music that is already in your Library, so it is safe to open something you own - you only pay if you choose to tip.
