How do I buy a track, and how does pay-what-you-want work?
Buying on Fatstep is a one-time purchase - you own the music, and there is no subscription. Pay what you want You choose your price, at or above a small minimum: - EUR 2.50 / USD 3.00 for a single track. - EUR 1.50 / USD 1.90 per track when you buy several at once. You are always welcome to pay more to support the artist, but you never have to. The price you see is the price you pay Card fees are already included, so nothing extra is added at checkout. Where is my music after I buy, and how do I download it?
Everything you buy lives in your Library, ready to download whenever you want. Download your files From your Library, download each track as an MP3 or a lossless WAV, or grab a whole purchase as a single zip. Re-download anytime, on any device Because you own your purchases, you can download them again whenever you need - on a new phone or laptop, just sign in with the same email. If you are downloading a lot at once, give it a moment (downloads are rate-limited to keep the files safe). I already own this - why is it asking me to pay again?
If you open a track you already own, Fatstep turns the purchase into a tip instead of charging you twice. How tips work Any amount you add on a track you already own goes straight to the artist as support. You are never charged again for music that is already in your Library, so it is safe to open something you own - you only pay if you choose to tip. Can I buy a whole album or an artist's entire catalog?
Yes - you can buy a single track, a full album, or an artist's whole catalog in one purchase. Bundles cost less per track The more you buy together, the bigger the discount, and a complete catalog is capped at EUR 999. Every track still comes as MP3 + WAV, yours to keep forever. Here is how you are charged, and what to do if something looks wrong. How you are charged The price you see is all-inclusive - card fees are already included - and billed in EUR or USD based on your region. There is no separate surcharge added at checkout.
