How do I find the right music?
There are two ways to find tracks on Fatstep: search by words, or match by sound when you know the vibe but not the name. Search by words Type an artist, song, genre, mood, or label into the search bar. Results are grouped so you can jump straight to songs, artists, releases, or playlists. Match by sound (Music Match) If you already have a track whose style you want, use Music Match: describe the sound you are after, or drop in an audio file (under 80 MB), and Fatstep finds songs in the same style. It is the fastest way to find "more like this." Narrow it down Filter the catalog by Genres, Moods, Instruments, Tempo, Duration, Vocals (or instrumental), Key and BPM, and sort by Staff Pick or Newest. Buying on Fatstep is a one-time purchase - you own the music, and there is no subscription. Pay what you want You choose your price, at or above a small minimum: - EUR 2.50 / USD 3.00 for a single track. - EUR 1.50 / USD 1.90 per track when you buy several at once. You are always welcome to pay more to support the artist, but you never have to. The price you see is the price you pay Card fees are already included, so nothing extra is added at checkout. Selling and distributing your music happens on our dedicated artist platform, not in the store here. Where to go Create your artist account at artists.fatstep.com. You keep your masters, reach every major store and streaming service, and there is no recoupment. Everything you buy lives in your Library, ready to download whenever you want. Download your files From your Library, download each track as an MP3 or a lossless WAV, or grab a whole purchase as a single zip. Re-download anytime, on any device Because you own your purchases, you can download them again whenever you need - on a new phone or laptop, just sign in with the same email. If you are downloading a lot at once, give it a moment (downloads are rate-limited to keep the files safe). How you are charged The price you see is all-inclusive - card fees are already included - and billed in EUR or USD based on your region. There is no separate surcharge added at checkout.
