Search by words Type an artist, song, genre, mood, or label into the search bar. Results are grouped so you can jump straight to songs, artists, releases, or playlists. The search reads meaning, not just names, so describing what you want works too: "warm lo-fi piano for a slow montage" returns sensible results even when none of those words appear in a title. More like this track When a track is nearly right, open its menu and choose Similar songs. Fatstep compares it to the rest of the catalogue by sound and brings back the closest matches. A song page carries the same list under its Similar tab, and a release page suggests related releases at the bottom. Narrow it down Filter the catalog by Genres, Moods, Instruments, Tempo, Duration, Vocals (or instrumental), Key and BPM, and sort by Staff Pick or Newest. How do I unlock more free downloads?

You unlock more download slots as your credited videos are confirmed. How slots work You start with 20 download slots, which rise to 30 after 5 validated videos, to 50 after 20, and become unlimited from 50. Each time a published video carrying your Fatstep credit is validated, you free up a slot and can take another track. Publish more and the number of slots you can hold at once goes up as well. If you see that all your slots are in use, publish and validate a video to free one. Tiers Your slots grow with your validated videos. Three steps: link your channel, download a track, credit it when you publish. 1. Link your YouTube channel Use Link with YouTube to connect and verify your channel so we can check your videos. Any channel size is fine. Your channel needs at least one video and to be more than a week old. 2. Download the track Download the MP3. Every track comes with its own unique credit link. 3. Credit it and publish Put that track's exact credit link (ftstp.com/c/your-code) in your video description, then publish. Yes, on a channel of any size. There is no subscriber limit. Use Fatstep tracks in your videos for free through the creator program, as long as you credit Fatstep. What you get Free MP3 tracks to use in your videos. You start with 20 tracks and unlock more as your videos go live with a Fatstep credit. Creator downloads are a 192 kbps MP3. YouTube re-encodes every upload at a lower bitrate, so your viewers hear exactly the same thing as with a higher-quality file. If you want the 320 kbps MP3 or the lossless WAV (for a remaster, or to use the track outside YouTube), buy the track: purchases always come in both. What we get Videos that use our music receive a YouTube Content ID claim, so we are paid out of the advertising on those videos.
